Vegan chocolate oat recipe

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed some beautiful autumn days. On Sundays I recharge for the following week, get things done and do something for myself!

Yesterday I made this delicious & healthy chocolate oats for breakfast. Lately I prefer to cook my oats in a pot rather than just adding boiling water to them, maybe because of the colder season. It’s just so cozy to have a warm chocolaty meal snuggled on the couch on a Sunday. On this note please enjoy this recipe:

Ingredients

  • Oats
  • Oat milk
  • chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds
  • cacao, cinnamon
  • Banana
  • Coconut flakes, Walnuts
  • Nut butter

Take a small pot and add around 100ml water, then add around 50-80g oats and add the oat milk until the oats are well covered. You can add oat milk any time to soften the texture as you like it.
Cover the pot and let the oats boil on medium heat.

Once the oats boil and soak in the liquid, add the seeds and the cacao powder and cinnamon. Stir everything well and let it boil again on a lower heat.

Once you got a creamy chocolaty texture you can pour the oats in a bowl and start with the toppings.

I NEED a banana in my breakfast. Yesterday I added some coconut flakes as well, walnuts and 2 of my favorite nut butters. Obviously you can add toppings of your choice and your favorite nut butter but keep it healthy. 🙂

I hope you will enjoy this recipe as much as I did! Be excited for the recipes and workouts which are about to come! Leave me your comment – I am happy to hear from you!
